The Castro story was in Baltimore Magazine, the hearing story was in USA Today Weekend the sculpture story and two of these essays ran in The Washington Post. Other education and energy stories appeared  in a variety of national publications There are unedited samples to the right, and clips on other pages for  counseling, education and kids, the environment and energy and other features and essays.

To see illustration samples, pull down the menu item named “pictures“. There are three illustration styles: 3) the frightened golfer, in-box dragon and snowman confrontation in a more traditional style. 1) the loose-line pictures like the first one above with the guy who is in for a back-of-the-head surprise  (also the  bike courier and surgeon); 2) the big-head people (the baseball player, the stressed mom and the big breath mint)
